Newly Weds Foods Opens Dedicated Gluten Free Manufacturing Facility

Banbury, U.K. (03/05/18)- Newly Weds Foods Limited announces the opening of a dedicated Gluten Free plant on the grounds of its current site in Banbury, Oxfordshire, UK. The facility is over 2700 sq. metres with the capabilities to produce Gluten-Free breadcrumb from tin baked loaves; and a blending facility, for the manufacture of complete Gluten-Free food coating systems.

Our Corby location is Europe’s only production site for Japanese Style Breadcrumb and the Banbury plant is the only source of breadcrumb made from real loaves of bread. This strong baking heritage and experience certainly shaped our thinking as we enter into the gluten free market with a unique breadcrumb offering.”

John Butcher, Newly Weds Foods Banbury Plant Manager said, “This dedicated factory is state of the art and designed to produce gluten free products unlike any others currently in the market. We are baking individual tinned loaves of Gluten Free bread. This facility will enable us to supply a range of Gluten Free crumb as well as, complementary coating system components to meet our customers’ processing needs.”
